Things I've Made

Outdoor Planter - Quick and Dirty

My friend Nikita made the poor mistake of mentioning she wanted to buy some simple timber planters on FB Marketplace. So very quickly I convinced her we could build one together and it could then be exactly what she wanted both in dimensions and price. So that's what we did!

This ended up being a fab half day project despite the fact that we had no power tools with use besides a drill. Luckily you can get your lumber cut for free at Bunnings (Hardware store) under a certain amount of cuts and so with our cut list and a rough design we got them to cut most of our lengths before we even left the store which saved us so much time.

Now obviously this thing ended up weighing a tonne and is a nightmare to move without the 6 good bags of soil in it but I still love it and more importantly Nikita loves it.
