My roommate Henry is a developing oil painter and his passion for his craft only makes me get more excited about mine. As a warm example of his infectious enthusiasm for his art, on our forth night as fresh roomies, he sketched me while I assembled his Ikea furniture.
I don't know why he thinks my arse is so long
With our praise and excitement of his sketches, he continued, quickly finding a lot of successes with single panel comics. Like a proud Mum, I’ve been squirrelling away and archiving his disposable work to collate and cherish.
Within a couple of months I archived enough of his pieces for a first volume. I scanned them with my phone using Microsoft lens which I've just found out will be soon discontinued because corporations hate things that work.

Here is the finished zine! Warning: it is very crude because he is a very crude boy

This has been such a rewarding way to use my skills in zine making. Getting to celebrate an artist's work feels amazing and I'm counting the days until Volume 2.
