I recently got a Remington QuietRiter! I love the immediacy of embodiment the machine offers my words. I can overthink and self-edit real quick on a digital word processor, and I'm slower than my thoughts with handwriting, but with a typewriter it's much quicker to continue than to edit. My output has gone up, a lot. Not the quietest way to bring words into being, but it's a good one.
